Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall in the Central U.S.

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms are forecast over parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, and west Texas today and tonight, with damaging winds and large hail possible. A cold front pressing south across the central Plains will collide with moist southerly winds on Thursday bringing a risk for heavy to excessive rainfall and flooding.
