Last Map Update: Sun, May 4, 2025 at 6:36:06 am CDT

Rainfall is expected to return to the combined Panhandles starting tonight. The start time begins in the evening, and the best chances exist overnight into Monday morning. This is just a look and the Sunday timeframe. Monday onward, not only do rain chances persist but they also increase dramatically! Stay prepared for the potential of flooding for the next several days.
Enjoy this afternoon with near normal highs in the 70s. For tomorrow, the combined Panhandles are expected to be cooler with plenty of cloud cover and moisture.
With heavy rain looking more likely next week, flash flooding and flooding will become a hazard especially for areas that have received a lot of rain recently. Be prepared for the potential for roadways to become flooded if you end up under heavy rain early next week.
With the potential for persistent rainfall with periods of moderate to heavy rain with some thunderstorms, there will be marginal to slight chance for some isolated areas to see flash flooding.
