...FIRE WEATHER WATCH SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR
WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA...

.Critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur Sunday
afternoon through Sunday evening over western and central North
Dakota. Temperatures will climb into the mid 70s to mid 80s, with
relative humidity values dropping as low as 18 percent. Southerly
winds will increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. Any
fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to
control.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible for western Nebraska
on Sunday with dry and windy conditions in the afternoon.

Rain and thunderstorms remain possible early next week, particularly
late Monday through Wednesday. Though severe weather does not appear
likely, locally heavy rain may be possible. Rain is likely to come
over a prolonged period of more than 24 hours, therefore flooding is
not expected.
