...WILDFIRE IN THE OCALA NATIONAL FOREST REDUCING
VISIBILITIES ALONG STATE ROAD 40...

The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting
significant reductions in visibility along State Road 40
in the vicinity of Northeast 10th Street Road in the
Ocala National Forest due to a combination of fog and
smoke from a nearby wildfire. This dangerous combination
of smoke and fog (known as super fog) may continue during
the overnight and early morning hours during the next
several days. Motorists planning travel along State Road 40
in the Ocala National Forest during the overnight and
morning hours should remain alert for sudden changes in
visibility over short distances.

...SHOWERS OVER THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Biscayne Bay...
  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...

At 801 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing
winds to around 25 to 30 knots. These showers were located along a
line extending from near Black Point to near Triumph Reef, moving
north at 5 to 10 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots and locally higher
waves. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms
pass.

Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in
case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
