Louisiana...
Mississippi River At Reserve affecting St. James, St. John The
Baptist and St. Charles Parishes.
Mississippi River At Donaldsonville affecting Ascension Parish.
Mississippi River At Baton Rouge affecting West Baton Rouge and
East Baton Rouge Parishes.
Mississippi River At Red River Landing affecting West Feliciana,
Pointe Coupee and East Baton Rouge Parishes.
For the Lower Mississippi River...including Red River Landing, Baton
Rouge, Donaldsonville, Reserve...Major flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Reserve.
* WHEN...Until Friday, May 09.
* IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Slow-bell procedures will be enacted for
river transportation.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 23.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Friday, May 09 and continue falling to 10.4 feet Friday, May
30.
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
