Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall are expected from Sunday
through Wednesday across the region. Precipitation amounts of 1 to
3 inches are possible. Embedded thunderstorms will also be
possible, with lightning, small hail and locally heavy rainfall
Sunday and Monday. Periods of moderate to heavy snow will be
possible during this period for peaks above 11000 feet.
More isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible Thursday
and Friday for the higher terrain, with gusty outflow winds,
lightning and small hail.

highway 83 and north of a Johnson City to Sublette line. Please

Multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms will be possible from
late Sunday night through at least Wednesday. There is a marginal
risk of excessive rainfall Tuesday and Tuesday night across
southwest Kansas. This may result in localized flooding or water
issues.
