Ham radio operators: Today is Skywarn Recognition Day

The 博体育 office in Paducah, KY will again participate in Skywarn Recognition Day this year. Skywarn Recognition Day is normally the first Saturday in December, and this year is no exception. This is a national event that the Paducah 博体育 office typically participates in.

The office can be reached on a 2-meter repeater via Echolink. The repeater is the primary repeater used by the Paducah Amateur Radio Association. The repeater call-sign and Echolink node is W4NJA. The frequency is 147.06 MHz with a PL tone of 179.9.
The special event call-sign of W4P has been assigned for the 博体育 Paducah station during this event.
The primary HF bands that will be worked through the event are 80, 40, and 20 meters. No digital modes will be worked.
