Summary:

An EF1 tornado began west of Hurricane Mills and moved eastward through the community before lifting just west of Highway 339. Approximately 500 trees were snapped or uprooted along the path. A barn was destroyed and several homes and buildings suffered significant roof damage, including the Loretta Lynn Ranch and Campground area and the Loretta Lynn home.

Summary:

An EF2 tornado began southwest of the Coble community then moved northeast along Highway 438, snapping and uprooting dozens of trees on both sides of the highway. Damage became much more significant in the center of Coble around the intersection of Briar Pond Road and Highway 438. Several brick homes suffered considerable damage in Coble including one with almost total roof loss and the collapse of a wall. A mobile home was completely destroyed with debris scattered and the metal frame wrapped partially around a tree. A cinder block garage and at least 3 barns were demolished and an RV was flipped on its side. The tornado was quite wide near Coble at around 500 yds, and hundreds of trees were snapped or uprooted. There were no injuries. The tornado then curved eastward and crossed Beaverdam Road and Highway 50, blowing down hundreds of more trees before lifting east of Smithfield Road. This tornado path and width were updated in January 2024 based on newly available high resolution satellite imagery.

Summary:

An EF1 tornado began northwest of the Highway 13 and White Road inersection and moved northeastward, blowing down dozens of trees along Highway 13, Buck Branch Road, Phillips Chapel Road and Harris Road. 2 barns were heavily damaged and another barn was completely destroyed at a farm on the east end of Harris Road. Dozens of trees continued to be snapped and uprooted along the path as the tornado continued eastward across Topsy Road and Rasbury Hollow into Lewis County, where 5 power poles were snapped along Seiber Ridge Road and numerous more trees were uprooted. Satellite imagery from Google Earth greatly assisted with this storm survey, and this tornado path was adjusted significantly and extended by 1 mile in May 2020 based on newly available high resolution satellite imagery.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado began along White Bluff Road in southeast Dickson County before lifting near Pinnacle Hill Road just northeast of Kingston Springs. Hundreds of trees were uprooted and snapped and several homes suffered minor roof damage along the intermittent 6 mile path.

An EF1 tornado touched down south of Hohenwald along Wildwood Road and moved eastward. A mobile home had minor roof damage on Swiss Colony Road. 1 mobile home was completely destroyed, 5 mobile homes were damaged, and an outbuilding was destroyed on the south end of Kayla Lane. Another mobile home lost its roof on the east end of Colonial Road, 2 others were damaged, and dozens of trees were blown down. A house on Highway 20 just south of Grinder Creek Road suffered minor roof damage. Further to the east, dozens of trees were blown down across Meriwether Lewis State Park, the Natchez Trace Parkway, and Hassell Kelly Road before the tornado lifted near Little Grinders Creek. Hundreds of trees were snapped and uprooted all along the path. Satellite and street view imagery from Google Earth greatly assisted with this storm survey, and the path was extended significantly in May 2020 based on newly available high resolution satellite imagery..

Summary:

An EF1 tornado touched down in Ashland City near Highway 12 and Batson Street, them moved eastward before lifting east of Floyd Temple Road. A few homes suffered EF0 damage on Batson Street and Oak Street, and one girl was injured on Oak Street when a window of her house blew in on her. An apartment complex suffered minor roof and interior water damage on Oak Circle. More homes suffered minor damage from Valley View Street to Bell Street. EF1 damage occurred between Bell Street and Floyd Temple Road where hundreds of trees were snapped and uprooted before the tornado lifted east of Floyd Temple Road. This tornado along with straight line winds to its south damaged a total of 46 buildings in Ashland Cty according to Cheatham County Emergency Management, including 37 houses, two churches and three apartment buildings, and left two homes uninhabitable. This entry was significantly updated in January 2015 based on aerial and street imagery from Google Earth.

Summary:

An EF2 tornado touched down south of Mount Zion Road east of Coopertown and moved northeastward before lifting about 4.3 miles southeast of Springfield. A few homes had minor roof damage south of Mount Zion Road and several trees were blown down. A gas station roof was partially blown off and gas pump awning damaged on Mount Zion Road at Tom Austin Highway. On the east side of the highway, an outbuilding was destroyed with debris blown 100 yards to the north into a water tower. One home and a business received roof damage on Old Highway 431, and an adjacent warehouse had an exterior door blown in and half of the roof blown off. Sheet metal from the warehouse was scattered up to 200 yards across adjacent fields. Further to the east, several trees were snapped or uprooted on New Cut Road. Major damage occurred on Stacy Springs road where a TVA high transmission tower was toppled, several homes and outbuildings suffered moderate roof damage, and dozens of trees were snapped and uprooted. Several businesses and barns also had roof damage on Highway 11. More barns and homes were damaged and numerous trees blown down on Old Greenbrier Pike and Worsham Springs Road. traveled northeast across Possum Trot Road uprooting and snapping several trees. More significant damage to homes and businesses occurred at the intersection of Highway 76 and Gum Station Road and along Lorilei Lane, where a few homes had moderate roof damage and many more homes and barns had minor roof damage. More homes and barns received minor damage south of Gum Station Road, with one home at 6537 Gum Station Road having moderate roof damage to its southern side and a tree falling on the western side. Another home at the southwest corner of the Bethlehem Road and Gum Station Road intersection was severely damaged, with others on the north side of the intersection suffering minor damage. More homes had minor roof damage further to the east along Bethlehem Road before the tornado lifted. Hundreds of trees were snapped and uprooted all along the path. Winds were estimated around 120 mph. This tornado was originally considered two separate tornadoes (one EF2 and one EF1) but was combined into one EF2 tornado in May 2020 based on new high resolution satellite imagery.

Along Bidwell Road, damage to a roof and barn was observed along with 10 to 15 downed trees. The path of damage crossed Wilkinson Road, Ridgewood Road, and Ivy Point Road where numerous trees were snapped and uprooted before the tornado lifted.

The tornado then traveled east to Freeman Hollow Road at Freeman Hollow Court snapping and uprooting numerous trees along its path. Additional trees were blown down with a few homes receiving minor roof damage to the east along Baker Road, Old Springfield Pike, and Highway 11. Moving through Millersville, numerous homes suffered minor roof and exterior damage along a narrow path across Williamson Road, Jesse Brown Drive, Cimmaron Drive, and other adjacent streets. Crossing I-65, a few more homes received minor roof damage on Lewis Drive. The tornado continued eastward with additional minor damage to homes along Patton Branch Road and Hogans Branch Road. Near the intersection of Tyree Springs Road and Sandy Valley Road, the tornado destroyed two garage buildings. Some more homes had minor roof damage and a barn was destroyed east of Upper Station Camp Road before the tornado lifted.

Summary:

An EF1 tornado touched down about 2.8 miles south-southwest of Cross Plains and moved northeast across eastern Robertson County and crossed Interstate 65 into western Sumner County. The tornado snapped or uprooted dozens of trees along Cross Plains Road north of Owens Chapel Road. A barn and mobile home were damaged along Jernigan Road, and several more trees were blown down on Calista Road. A home on Village Green Drive at Highway 25 was heavily damaged and a few others in the area suffered minor roof damage. More trees were snapped and uprooted as the tornado crossed Interstate 65 at mile marker 113 and Highway 31 one-half mile north of Highway 25 before the tornado moved into Sumner County. Several trees were snapped or uprooted along Spring Valley Road and South Road before the tornado lifted. Winds were estimated around 95 mph. This tornaod path was adjusted in May 2020 based on newly available high resolution satellite imageyr.

An EF0 tornado touched down just northeast of the I-65 and Trinity Lane interchange and moved eastward along a narrow intermittent path through East Nashville before ending around McGavock Pike in Inglewood just to the west of the Cumberland River. Several mobile homes were heavily damaged by fallen trees along Dickerson Pike with one minor injury in the Ranchwood Mobile Home Park. Numerous homes received minor roof and exterior damage along Donald Street, Gordon Terrace, Woodyhill Drive, and Jones Avenue and several large trees were blown down. Some roof damage was noted to health department buildings on RS Gass drive south of Hart Lane. Dozens of homes suffered minor roof and exterior damage from the Gillock Street and Gallatin Pike area eastward to near McGavock Pike with numerous trees and fences blown down.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado touched down west of Fort Granger Drive just east of downtown Franklin. Two businesses on Fort Granger drive and two others on Eddy Lane received roof and siding damage with sheet metal blown into adjacent forests and fields. A pavilion was damaged by a falling tree at Liberty Elementary School. Several homes and a church had minor roof damage along Liberty Pike, Cadet Lane, Flintlock Drive, and in the Liberty Hills subdivision.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado touched down near the intersection of Highway 31 and Shute Lane. Numerous trees were uprooted or snapped with some trees falling on homes. Several homes had minor roof damage. The most significant damage occurred in the Fairview Plantation and Baypoint subdivisions. Damage also occurred to the Gallatin Marina and surrounding docks. The tornado traveled 10.85 miles and continued to blow down trees and cause minor roof damageto a few homes and outbuildings along the path until it lifted near Bledsoe Creek State Park. The path of this tornado was updated in December 2018 using Google Earth satellite imagery.

博体育 Nashville personnel and Wilson County Emergency Management confirmed an EF2 tornado touched down in Mount Juliet on Glenwood Drive, then moved east-northeast through the city before lifting east of Cooks Church Road. The heaviest damage occurred in a commercial district around Lebanon Road and Mount Juliet Road, where a Dollar General store and an automotive warehouse were heavily damaged. A distribution warehouse for the Tennessean newspaper on Lineberry Boulevard was nearly completely destroyed, and the roof, third story, and several walls of an adjacent three-story building were blown off. Dozens of other businesses in the area received minor to moderate structural damage and debris impacts from nearby damaged buildings. Significant damage to outbuildings, fences, and power poles also occurred at the Mount Juilet Ballpark. Dozens of trees and power lines were blown down and many homes received minor damage along the path.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado touched down just west of Greenfield Lane north of Highway 25 and moved east-northeast. Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted with several homes having minor roof damage along the path across Rock Springs Road and Lauderdale Lane before the tornado lifted 1/2 miles north of the intersection of Governor Hall Road and Homer Scott Road. The path of this tornado was adjusted based on Google Earth satellite imagery in December 2018.

Summary:

An 博体育 Storm Survey confirmed an EF0 tornado touched down southwest of Bethpage along Alexander Lane then moved easterly before lifting in extreme northwest Trousdale County. Several homes and outbuildings received minor roof damage and the tornado snapped or uprooted numerous trees in all directions along the path. A small shed was destroyed on Wolf Hill Road before the tornado lifted east of Gravel Hill Road. The path of this tornado was shortened by nearly one mile and location adjusted slightly based on the damage path in December 2018 Google Earth satellite imagery.

Summary:

Initial damage was noted along Mann Road in northern Wilson County where numerous trees were snapped and minor roof damage was noted. Intermittent damage consisting of hundreds of snapped and uprooted trees and some property damage continued northeast for over 10 miles. The last evidence of damage was along Highway 141/Hartsville Pike just north of Riadon Road. The most significant damage, including significant roof damage along with destroyed outbuildings, was along Beasley`s Branch and Canoe Branch Roads in Wilson county, and along Highway 231 in far southern Trousdale County. Additional damage surveying was done along Horn Springs and Berea Church Road in Wilson County. Damage consisiting of downed trees and damaged outbuildings was caused by straight line winds. This path was adjusted and extended slightly in December 2018 based on Google Earth satellite imagery.

Summary:

An EF1 tornado touched down west of Horton Highway around 3 miles west of Eagleville. Two farm buildings were heavily damaged on Horton Highway and a couple of homes had minor roof damage on Allisona road. The most significant damage occurred less than one mile north of Eagleville along North Main Street, Elm Street, and Oak Street where several homes received roof and siding damage. At least four barns were damaged between Oak Street and Swamp Road before the tornado lifted east of Swamp Road. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted along the path with some falling on homes.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado began west of Clampit Hollow Road and moved northeast before lifting east of Marshall Lane. Dozens of trees were snapped, a couple older barns were destroyed, and an outbuilding was damaged along an approximate 1 mile path over far southwestern Macon County.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado touched down in northeast Macon County about 7 miles northeast of Lafayette. The tornado touched down along Owens Road just north of Holland Road and continued northeast for 1.5 miles to just east of Jimtown Road and south of Heady Ridge Road. An older home received significant damage and a barn suffered considerable roof loss. A few hundred trees were snapped and uprooted along the path.

Summary:

An EF0 tornado touched down about 1 mile north of Woodbury along Doolittle Road and traveled eastward before ending east of Gunter Hollow Road on Short Mountain. Damage included about a hundred snapped or uprooted trees and minor roof and structural damage along the path, including on Gassaway Road. The most significant damage occurred at the summit of Short Mountain. Satellite imagery from Google Earth greatly assisted with determining the damage path for this storm survey.

Summary:

Based on a survey completed by Coffee County Emergency Management, a tornado was confirmed in and near Manchester. The sheet metal roof of a home was partially blown off on Walker Road in Manchester and a tree was blown down in the yard. A few trees were blown down and the press box was destroyed at the Coffee County Middle School. Intermittent damage consisting of dozens of snapped trees and damaged roofs continued for approximately 5 miles to the northeast. The last evidence of damage was on Shining Star Lane just off Ragsdale Road where a home had minor damage and a few trees were blown down.
