A storm system will track from the southern Plains to the Upper Midwest today. Severe thunderstorms are expected from east Texas into far southeast Iowa and Illinois. A strong tornado and damaging wind potential will exist from central Arkansas into central Missouri. Heavy to excessive rainfall from eastern Texas into the Midwest states may bring new or renewed areas of flooding.

The International Affairs Office (IAO) coordinates all international cooperation for the 博体育 (博体育) and is located within the Office of the Assistant Administrator for Weather Services. Mr. Ken Graham, who is the 博体育 Director, also serves as the Permanent Representative for the United States with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).
IA supports the US Permanent Representative in coordinating US participation in WMO Technical Commissions, Regional Associations, and Executive Council. IA program analysts manage bilateral relations, implement projects, oversee the travel of 博体育 experts, represent the 博体育 at international meetings, and coordinate with other federal agencies and non-governmental partners.
