Prolonged Periods of Unsettled Weather into Early Next Week

Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall, with a few thunderstorms being severe, are expected over portions of the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic States through Monday. Across the Rockies and Intermountain West, a storm system will bring showers, thunderstorms and high elevation snow.

This year's theme is "Stay Weather Aware, Time to Prepare!" with the following daily topics that will be discussed this week:

> Tuesday, June 13: Downburst Winds & Dust Storms
> Wednesday, June 14: Hiking & Camping During the Monsoon
> Thursday, June 15: Flash Flooding
> Friday, June 16: Wildfires & Debris Flow
> Saturday, June 17: Boating Hazards During the Monsoon
