Red Flag Warning Monday and Tuesday

Wind Hazards Monday and Tuesday

A Red Flag Warning is in effect Monday and Tuesday for far eastern Arizona. Strong southwest winds gusting from 35 to 45 on Monday, then 45 to 60 mph on Tuesday combined with low RH can cause fired to rapidly grow in size and intensity.

Wind advisories are in effect on Monday and Tuesday for much of northern Arizona. A High Wind Warning is in effect for Tuesday for the Little Colorado River Valley. Strong southwest winds gusting from 35 to 45 on Monday, then 45 to 60 mph on Tuesday. Difficult driving conditions and areas of blowing dust are expected. Loose or unsecured objects may be blown around or damaged by winds.
